My Cousin Doug's Wedding...

We have had alot of weddings already this spring season. My cousin Doug's was the first though. It was a couple of weekends ago in Orland Park, IL. We had a great time at the wedding and the weather was beautiful for the outdoor service! Here is Doug and Anne as they are first announced as "Mr. and Mrs. Doug Shippy"...

Cubs game...

What a great time! There were 16 of us that met up at Wrigley for a day in the bleachers! As you can see Rose & Cauis, and Jenny & Joe went...and then Cilfone & Ashley, Kenny & Erin, Keno, Scott Williams, and then some friends of Keno and Erins came too.

We baked in the sun, but it was great to get everyone together. Unfortunately the Cubs didn't win, but we have fun regardless!

A Mother's Day to remember...

We have some fabulous news to share with our family and friends that we haven't already shared with...I am pregnant. Many and most of our friends found out today and it was a great way to start out being a mother...on Mother's Day. We think I am about 5 weeks, but we'll find out for sure when I go to the doctor in a couple of weeks. We are super excited!

The "Super" Surprise Party...

JR's mom and I threw JR a Surprise 30th Birthday Party and it was a TOTAL success! I think it took JR about 5 minutes to figure out the party was actually for him! The loud "surprise" didn't get him, singing Happy Birthday didn't get him...but seeing that the people at the party weren't his dad's friends, they were his friends is when he finally got it! It was Great!!! I think JR has forgivin us now...

Baby Grupe Shower

My mom and I threw my brother and his wife a baby shower a couple of weekends ago. I just got my hands on the pictures because I forgot my camera so I had to use my mom's the entire day. I made the center pieces and found the idea for the clothesline online. It was a great day! Kevin and Angela received so many great gifts. "Abigail Dean" should be arriving at the end of June and I am super excited!
