Thanksgiving...

We spent the day at my Grandma & Grandpa Paulsen's house for Thanksgiving. My uncle Jeff and cousin Kyle flew in from Boulder for the weekend. We had a great time hanging out at gma & gpa's house and having Abigail there to entertain us! The food was great, as it always is on Thanksgiving. What a great day to be thankful for all our family being together!

The November blessings...

JR and I had two different showers in the month of November. We have been blessed beyond imagination. Our little Brooklyn is the luckiest little girl...she is going to have great toys, books, clothes, and everything else you could imagine.

We had our first shower in Chicago Heights, IL at the church that I grew up in and that my parent's attend. The ladies of the church, many family members, and old family friends were in attendance. It was great to see them all and be blessed by them! We received great gifts from everyone. Here are a few pictures...

Our second shower was in Crown Point, IN at White Hawk country club. It was lady's from the church we attend, my college friends, JR's entire family, and lots Rosenbaum family friends. What an amazing shower...JR's mom is quite the party planner! We were again blessed by all the amazing ladies that were there. After this shower we have everything we need for the years to come for Brooklyn! Here are pictures...

JR and I would just like to thank everyone for blessing Brooklyn at these two showers. It is overwhelming to know how loved she is before she gets here! We are really excited for her arrival. She is on schedule for January 6th, but if I can get her to come earlier...she'll be here! As soon as I have her room in order I will post the final product! It has been a long process of going through everything we received!

Beginning of the Room...

The baby room is slowing coming together. The paint is done and we have the glider & ottoman in place. The crib will hopefully be here this week and we'll be well on our way to making it actually look like a baby room! Here are some pictures...

We have a couple of friends that paint for a living. They blessed us with this amazing design on the wall. It is very suble and will look great when all the busy bedding gets put into the room!

We had a shower on Sunday at my parent's church in Illinois. We received so many nice things! Once I have time to put everything away and we have the room in back in order I will take more pictures! These pictures were all taken before the shower so the room didn't have much in it...different story now. I will post pictures from the shower as soon as I can get them uploaded!
