Big Day for Brooklyn...

Today we ventured to the mall for a very special reason. Little Miss Brooklyn now has beautiful ears and will not be mistaken for a boy. She got her ears pierced and looks absolutely adorable! She was such a big girl through the entire process. She cried more when the lady was trying to make the guideline marks than when she did the actual piercing. She only cried for about 30 seconds after she got them pierced!!! She is such a good girl! Here are the pictures that Danielle took for us...

Before...very peaceful taking a nap in the stroller at the mall...

Before...in the chair getting ready...

Before...getting the marks done...she didn't like this part.
After...she was not happy for about 30 seconds.
After...looking cute as a button and back to happy. She went back to her nap as soon as I laid her back in her seat.

Family time...

A couple weekends ago we got together with My Parents, JR's parents, Shelley & Marge, and Kevin, Ang, & Abigail. The little ones were really cute. Brooklyn doesn't quite understand that there is someone else her size, but Abigail definitely does. Abigail gets so excited to see the little baby and wants her to play with her! Here are some pictures from that night.

Jenny Prudhomme's 30th Birthday...

This past weekend Brookyln was able to meet many of my college friends! It was great to see everyone and I am so happy that she was able to meet all of you that were in town! We had friends that came into town from Wisconsin, Missiouri, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and even Georgia not to mention all those who already live in or near Chicago.

Here a few pictures that we captured at Jenny's house...
These are the girls that were at Jenny's house early...there are quite a few missing!!!
Kova and Brookyln...
Lindsay and Brooklyn...wish she could have met Neve!
Brooklyn with Liz...
Brooklyn also had her first overnight with GiGi and Gramps (my parents). She stayed on her bedtime sleeping schedule and reports tell me that she was really good in church too. JR and I had a good time out and enjoyed a night away. But I know we were both anxious to get back to see her on Sunday afternoon!
We can't wait for another opportunity to get everyone together again!

Two Months...

Brooklyn had her two month appointment this morning. She is still in the 75 percentile for everything...she measured 23.5 inches and weighed 12lbs 4 oz. She had her first round of immunization shots as well...she cried as we expected, but I think we both thought it was going to be worse than it was! Thankfully, She only cried for about 3 minutes and then fell asleep!

A couple weeks ago she was able to meet her great grandfather (Peg's dad)...
The same day it was her great grandmothers birthday (Peg's mom)...
This picture is of the 4 generations...Dziadzia (polish for Grandfather), Peg, JR, and Brooklyn
