Finally caught up...#5

Hopefully the last post of the day...if you haven't seen all other other posts you'll want to start at the beginning to follow Brooklyn through the summer!

Still in August...

Here is the couch picture that we have forgot to do every month...this is her at 7 months. She really didn't want to have her picture taken, but I had the camera out so she was out of luck!

Playing in her room...SHE LOVE SOCCER!!! Go figure. She loves to stand up and kick the soccer ball...all the pictures of that are video's. I have not figured out how to download the video's yet...that is all JR!

I found this bench at one of the Antique stores in town...I had to have it...LOVE this picture of Brooklyn and Sam. Sam was mine from my uncle Gary. He gave it to me when I was little for Christmas. Probably one of the best gifts I ever got...obviously because Brooklyn gets to play with him too!

Brooklyn looking so stinkin' cute on her bench!

Good save GOALIE! Rose this picture is for you...thought you would appreciate it!

This is how we found her a few nights ago when we put her down for bed...first time standing up in the crib by herself...I was shocked. I had to lay her back down so I could watch how she did it. I had to sneak around the corner so she couldn't see me while she pulled herself up! AMAZING!

Brooklyn constantly amazes us! She is crawling now...although she is still slow to go...that won't last for long. Gates are up and cabinets will get safety locks this weekend. We LOVE her so much. We couldn't have asked for a better little gift from God!
We'll probably have pictures from this weekend with family, but don't get your hopes up that they'll get posted anytime soon! An hour of posting is enough for awhile! Hope you enjoyed all the summer updates!

Finally caught up...#4

Post #4 in like 35 minutes...i am trying to catch up on the summer. If you want to see all the pictures scroll down to start at the beginning...

We are into August now...

We went to the Lake County Fair again this year...if you remember last year I was stranded by myself in a ridiculous storm...everyone else was at home while i suffered (ha!) by my lonesome. Anyway, we had a great time with Gma and Gpa Grupe, Great GMa Pat, Kevin, Ang, and Abigail...so much fun to have the entire family together!

Family picture at the Fair...

Just the two of us...these pictures don't come around very often...MY LOVE!!!

I missed this event! JR unloaded Brooklyn's stuffed animals from the net above her crib on her...he said she was hilarous...we did re-inact it a few days later so I could see it happen. I am sure it was nothing like the first time!

I am still confused on why she had no shirt on in the first picture and her onsie on in the next picture. The camera said the two pictures were taken in the same minute...impressive! He probably didn't want naked pictures of her posted...whoops...that probably goes along with the one piece bathing suit issue too (vs. two piece - too much skin shows...oh is he in for a treat when she gets to high school!) hahaha...he is such a GREAT DAD!!!

i am going to try to fit the rest of the pictures in the next post...

Finally caught up...#3

You'll want to start at the beginning of all these posts...

NEXT...

These are all random photos taken in July (6 mos)...
Brooklyn and Dad sleeping on the Couch! TOO CUTE!

We made a trip to Shipshawana with Gma Grupe and Great Grandma Pat...this was at lunch.

No Drinking and Driving...she was hanging out in the basement with me while I was helping Stef with wedding stuff! TOO FUNNY!!

Fast asleep...hey, that is how I sleep! She is so stinkin' cute!

JR took this picture...I LOVE IT...

Just chillin' with the soccer ball as her pillow! She loves to play with her feet...
That's the end of July...August, here we come...

Finally caught up...#2

You'll want to start at the beginning to watch Brooklyn grow in these pictures and see how our summer has been spent!

Moving on...

Brookyln's newest boyfriend was born on July 7th. This is Liam and Brooklyn when he turned one week old...she is 6 months in this picture. Liam was only 6 lbs here and Brooklyn was tipping the scale at 18 lbs. What a difference 6 months makes...

JR has her sporting the Mohawk...i have to admit she is pretty cute when she has the mohawk look going on...although she is always cute so i suppose it doesn't really matter what her hair looks like!

She is giving Liam kisses...TOO CUTE...she loves him. :)

End of July we made a visit to see Abigail and Angie in Michigan City. Grandma Grupe came out to meet us too! What a fun day...

The girls were attacking Grandma! It was hilarious! Abigail is on Gma, she must have distracted Brooklyn with the monkey.

This was the first time that the two of them acknowledge each other. I am sure they don't know they are cousins, but they see eye to eye now and know that they get to see each other more often! They are too cute together!

Finally caught up...

I have finally caught up on downloading all of our pictures! I'm not really sure where to start, so we'll see where this post goes...i am going to try to start with old pictures and work my way to the most recent!

This picture was taken back in June...so she is only 5 months in this pictures. So close to sitting up on her own...as you can see my foot was assisting her in sitting up for the picture. She loves to be in the water!

This picture was later in June at our friends house (The Locke's). Brooklyn has her own floaty thing at their house that Grandma Peg bought her.

We took Brooklyn to her first Red Stars Game (Women's Professional soccer team in Chicago) at het beginning of July. She doesn't know how much likes soccer yet.

I thought this was a good family picture. You'd never guess this was in July with our sweatshirts on. I cant' believe what a cold summer we have had!

In the middle of July, JR and I played in a Beach Soccer Tournament in Michigan City...of course she came along for the day. We passed her on the sidelines as our team subbed. It seemed to work out. Although, JR and I were very out of shape the day was super fun! We will definitely do it again next summer.

Brooklyn sticks her feet in Lake Michigan for the first time...it was COLD! She didn't seem to mind it until it got her diaper wet!

Post #1 done...only about 5-6 more to go...enjoy...
