I have been slacking on the pictures...here are some updates...

This was taken at Brooklyn's Dedications, June 14th.

She was suppose to be sleeping, but she was peeking out the side of her crib...

This was her trip to the zoo with her Gma and Gpa Rosenbaum...

We went shopping and tried this Elephant ear hat on her...she liked it, so I bought it.

I have alot more pictures on the camera to upload...one of these days! Busy time of the year with Soccer starting up again! Gotta love it. :)

Growing like a weed...

Brooklyn had her 6 month check up today. She is now 27 1/2 inches long and 18 lbs 14 oz, 97th percentile for both. She is constantly talking (making noise). She knows when she is getting her pictures taken and hams it up for the camera. She loves to stand, but tolerates her stomach more now than ever. She is rolling over and sitting up. She hasn't quite figured out to sit up on her own yet and crawling is coming soon! We are loving every minute of being parents. Everyone says to enjoy the time while they are little...and we are! But she is growing quickly...Sometimes I wish we could put life on pause to take it all in! The time is passing oh so fast!

Brooklyn 5 months...

We had Brooklyn's portraits done for her Dedication and Father's Day. The soccer pictures were for her dad...and the Cubs pictures were for her Grandpa's...

Here is the link to check them out...if you want any of the printed, let me know. I will have to get them done where we had the pictures taken.

Brooklyn 5 Months

Brooklyn's first Cubs game...

And Sox game too...but the Cubs are the only team that matter to us, especially when they are playing the Sox.
We took Brooklyn to the Cubs vs Sox game on June 18th at Wrigley. It was a great game! The Cubs ended up rallying in the bottom of the 9th to win it.
Dad getting Brooklyn ready to go to game...and no, she did not wear the hat to the game...
Our seats where behind home plate in the upper half of the lower deck. Perfect seats!

This is when the Cubs started rallying and the stadium was going crazy. Our little sports fan decided it was a good time to go to sleep!
Here she is about 45 minutes later...still sleeping outside the stadium. We couldn't believe she slept through all the noise and excitement!
The we went to Navy Pier for the rest of the day. We walked up and down the pier and ate dinner there. What a wonderful day with the family!
End of the day...heading home.

Brooklyn updates...

Kara came to visit from San Diego the first week of June. We got to spend an entire day with her and her boyfriend Cory. It was an absolute great time and we wish she lived closer! We have to schedule a trip to San Diego sometime soon!!!

Brooklyn is now eating Rice Cereal, Veggies, and Fruits...she is a little jokester and loves to blow when you stick the spoon in her mouth. She has recently started fake sneezing so that is the newest thing when you feed her. Generally she is a good eater though! I think that Applesauce is her favorite thing to eat so far.

Brooklyn is driving her Jeep. Dad is jealous becasue she has a Jeep before he does. Not that he'll ever have a Jeep Wrangler, but that is the play car that he wants...someday maybe?

May is coming...

I haven't uploaded the May pictures from the camera...once I get around to it, they will be posted! She did have her 4 month appointment and she waas 15 lbs and 15oz and 26 inches long. We have no clue where she gets her height. The doctor thinks it will even out eventually.

That's all for now.

It's been awhile...

I haven't been on in a long time...here are pictures from April.

Family lunch in the park downtown Hobart.

Brooklyn driving the boat on Lake George...steady, steady!

Getting ready to go swimming for the first time!
She looks excited even though she had no idea what was going on...

Here she is swimming at a Hotel we stayed at for a family baby shower down in Crawfordsville, IN. We weren't sure if she would like it, but she did!
