Bathroom Remodel...

We'll I have waited a long time for this bathroom remodel and it is coming right along. My dad and I started Sunday, March 7th tearing out the vanity, toilet, mirror, and lights...which didn't leave much left...tile and tub. Tuesday the 9th, JR's dad came over and we tore out all the tile in 2 hours. CAST IRON TUB being the only thing left...
So, Saturday the 13th we called in the muscle...Collin, JR's dad, My dad, and JR. These guys worked their butts off to get the tub out and get the new one in...of course, I didn't do them any favors by buying another CAST IRON Tub!
The tile guy came Tuesday the 16 & Thursday the 18th, and he'll be back again on Friday and Saturday to finish up...
So here are the pictures that take you through each of our wonderful steps of the bathroom so far!!

We took Brooklyn to Disney...we know she will not remember it, but she LOVES Mickey Mouse so she was in heaven when she got to meet him!


Newly weds of 31 years...okay, not so new...


Brooklyn made Marge, Shelley, mom and I sing for 45 minutes straight when we went to Universal CityWalk...she kept telling us 'more'...so we kept singing. Who knew we had 45 minutes of kid songs...(thanks to the teacher we were able to do it!)


Then after singing for 45 minutes, she fell asleep as we were paying to park...GOOD TIMING! So I carried her around for about an hour before she woke up...little did she know she went surfing while sleeping!


We had a great time in Florida...thanks to Doug and Anne who got the house for the week...we'll have to do something like this again...SOON!!!

Feb 2010 - Orlando, FL

We had our first plane trip with Brooklyn...she was excellent! She slept on every flight...thank the good Lord above!
We took her to Wonderworks. She is riding a 4-wheeler here.



She loved the super-sized bubbles...and so did JR and I!


The second day we took her to the Orlando Science Center! This is a "must-do" with kids! It is 4 floors of interactive things for kids to do. All the way from 12 mos to adult things...we will go back to this place next time we are in Orlando!
They had a frog exhibit so Brooklyn posed on top of the Frog.


She built a town in the fake house...


And uncovered Dinosaur bones from the sand using the brush...

I think she had a good time here, and I know that JR and I really enjoyed it!

Bellaboo's con'd...

The water room is by far Brooklyn's favorite room...as you can see she is soaked and JR LOVEs giving her mohawks...




We saved the water room for last knowing that she would need a change of clothes before we left!

Bellaboos...

There is a new place in town called Bellaboos. Brooklyn LOVES it...and as you'll see so does everyone else...

January 2010...

So here I am updating again...haven't posted in a very long time...Brooklyn got the cozy car for her Birthday. She loves riding around the house in it, saying "hi" and "bye".



She also got this wonderful rocking chair for her Bday! She love to sit in it!


Yummy...Ravioli's! Thank goodness JR took her clothes off before this meal!


She loves to brush her teeth...


And fold laundry...or unfold in this case.
